"My idea is, why I draw them, see, there's lots of stories that are told in Ojibway but that wasn't enough for me. I wanted to draw them - that's from my own self - my own idea what they look like."

I just wanted to finally say how much I enjoy visiting this sight daily. The healing power of Norval's images awakens my energy and being daily and moment to moment. What a fitting tribute to his legacy. He continues to live in spirit among us of course but this site is more than a resting place - it is alive with his essence and power.
I visit this site religiously everyday to see and connect with the universal spirits that are captured in his images and words. Thank you for allowing us to know more about the copper thunderbird.

Your site and Norval's presence are now a greater part of my life experience. My goal is still to own an original painted artifact of this great spirit. It's sacredness will then physically manifest itself in my world even more than it does now.

I'm honoured to continue to enjoy this man, this spirit in this form. Your work is important. Thank you for your persistance and important work.

Lloyd, Chi megwetch (Thank you very much)!

As I stated in the NORVAL MORRISSEAU BLOG's Mission Statement: "This Blog is posted in honour of the Mind, Body and Spirit of Copper Thunderbird better known as Norval Morrisseau - Grand Shaman of the Ojibway. Also, this is the first and the only Blog initiated during Norval Morrisseau’s lifetime and it is dedicated entirely to the preservation of the legacy of his people as well as to the preservation of his artistic legacy."

This is just the beginning!
