The painting presented in this posting titled "Thunderbird with Hatchlings" (1976) by Norval Morrisseau is another one that appeared on Ritchie Sinclair's website www.stardreamers.com in "Woodland Art Online" Gallery under the category: "Norval Morrisseau - Masterpieces" and stayed there for more than three years.
-
Presented below is a screen capture of the "Search" page of Ritchie Sinclair's website (Click HERE) where you could by searching for the word "masterpieces" find that painting titled "Thunderbird with Hatchlings" (1976) had been presented in the "Norval Morrisseau - Masterpieces" Gallery since September 1st, 2005.
-
The same information cannot be found at www.stardreamers.com anymore due to deletion of the "Woodland Art Online" Gallery by webmaster Ritchie 'Stardreamer' Sinclair as explained in "Changing Faces of Ritchie "Stardreamer" Sinclair (Part I)".

The same painting titled "Thunderbird with Hatchlings" (1976) has been presented at www.morrisseau.com as an "Inferior Countrfeit Morrisseau" since October 2008.

Screen capture from www.morrisseau.com (20-APR-2009) of the painting titled "Thunderbird with Hatchlings", 1976 (Click HERE) when its webmaster Ritchie 'Stardreamer' Sinclair called it an "Inferior Counterfeit Morrisseau" (NOTICE FOR THE "COURT FILE No. CV-08-00366828" HAS BEEN OMITTED FOR THE PRESENTATION OF THIS POSTING!) /Click on image to Enlarge/

>>> IMPORTANT NOTE:
-
In the same painting titled "Thunderbird with Hatchlings" (1976) the Government of Canada was interested for its reproduction to be displayed at the Lake Superior Provincial Park. Click HERE (see page 4) to view .pdf file of the Norval Morrisseau's sworn declaration where he stated "Thunderbird with Hatchlings" (1976) to be a fake and/or an imitation. The painting in question was exhibited at Gallery Sunami of North York, Ontario.
-
This and other Norval Morrisseau's sworn affidavits is just a manipulation of Gabor (Gabe) Vadas by which he tried unsuccessfully to take control over the Norval Morrisseau's secondary art market by discrediting large body of work done by Norval Morrisseau (Click HERE).
-
Several of these affidavits can be found in an article about Norval Morrisseau on 'Wikipedia' in a section 'Fakes and Forgeries' completely taken out of context which has also become the part of the 'Norval Morrisseau Conspiracy' being uncovered on this blog and elswhere. The same affidavits can be found on www.morrisseaubuyersbeware.com also completely taken out of context by its webmaster Jonathan Browne.

-
More of my views in regards to the Norval Morrisseau's sworn affidavits will be presented in future postings on the NORVAL MORRISSEAU BLOG. -

>>> BLOG MASTER'S COMMENT:
-
The reason why I started this blog more than 17 months ago was due to false statements made by Kinsman Robinson Galleries, Coghlan Art Studio & Gallery and individuals* (a List of Individuals presented at the end of this paragraph) closely associated with Norval Morrisseau regarding paintings in question. I felt the need to create a platform that will speak for Norval when this priviledge to speak for himself was put in the hands of others that were only interested in their personal financial gain by putting the Legacy of Norval Morrisseau aside.
-
I am dissapointed that Norval Morrisseau Heritage Society is not honouring their mission statement which states:
-
"The Norval Morrisseau Heritage Society was established at the request of Norval Morrisseau to research, document and preserve his artistic achievement and protect the integrity of his art. It seeks to achieve this mission by establishing and maintaining a registry of his works, publishing and updating a catalogue raisonne of his artistic output and providing the necessary expertise to authenticate his art."
-
-Why are they silent? Is their silence approval for what has been presented on www.morrisseau.com? If they truly care in "protecting the integrity of Norval Morrisseau's art" they would need to speak up. Their silence is hurting the legacy of the man they are supposed to protect and the longer they wait to publish a public statement regarding this matter presented herein, the longer the legacy of Norval Morrisseau will suffer.
-
This website www.morrisseau.com is a disservice to Norval Morrisseau, his legacy and the people of Canada. It is full of lies put forth by the people who have little or no expertise to judge the authenticity of Norval Morrisseau's and who are acting only for greed of others using false histories as their methods of deception.
-
I am a strong believer that Norval Morrisseau's Legacy belongs to his people "the Great Ojibway" and to family that bears his name - Morrisseau Family.
-

-
>>> ADDITIONAL NOTES:
-
After starting the 'Norval Morrisseau Art Market Devaluation Attack' Mr. Sinclair added the following disclaimer note at the end of each of the pages on his website www.stardreamers.com in "Woodland Art Online" Gallery:
-
"The images posted in this archive are not for sale. They are simply pictures that I collected from various internet art sources years ago and posted here for inspiration and enjoyment. With the exception of paintings that I witnissed painted or Exhibited by Morrisseau I have no way of discerning whether the images shown here are all authentic Morrisseau originals. Nevertheless, Enjoy!"
-
... Still, even after admitting that 'he has no way of discerning what is and what is not an original work by Norval Morrisseau except those he witnessed painted or Exhibited by Norval Morrisseau' he was able to label hundreds of paintings in galleries all across the North America and private collections as "Inferior Counterfeit Morrisseaus" without even seeing them and examining them in person (see his website www.morrisseau.com under the category "Counterfeit Norval Morrisseau Art").
-
... Also, Mr. Ritchie 'Stardreamer' Sinclair stated in his disclaimer that he posted said images 'for inspiration and enjoyment' and after three years of exhibiting them on www.stardreamers.com he claimed on his other website www.morrisseau.com the following:
-
"I stand by my opinions on the artwork that I have pointed to as forged. I don't blame any gallery for selling them but I consider it their responsibility to be as informed as possible about the work they promote. Once informed if they continue to sell forged artwork they join the Windigo spirit that drives this enterprise."
(Click HERE to read Mr. Sinclair's comment in it's entirety)
-
How is it possible Mr. Sincalir that painting titled "Thunderbird with Hatchlings" (1976) that you posted 'for inspiration and enjoyment' for more than three years on www.stardreamers.com in "Woodland Art Online" Gallery under the category: "Norval Morrisseau - Masterpieces" out of a sudden becomes an "Inferior Counterfeit Morrisseau" painting on www.morrisseau.com?
-
>>> CLOSING STATEMENT:
-
The capture of my findings proves one thing only. That Mr. Sinclair who is claiming to be a protégé of Norval Morrisseau is well aware of his 'hypocritical and lying past activities' which have come to the fore in real time 'cought red-handed' as it were in trying to cover up his scheme of 'Norval Morrisseau Art Market Devaluation Attack' but was unsuccessful at deleting critical and damning evidence supporting his slanderous activities.

Its too bad that Ritchie can't make up his mind. Real or not real? Im also surprised that someone like Kinsman Robinson Gallery would want to be associated with Ritchie since they are such a "reputable gallery". I will use that term losely.
Thank you SpiritWalker for honouring Norval and his works. The writing is on the wall and has been for along time. Hold your head high. KRG has alot of sheep following right now that dont form their own opinions but rather are brainwashed into what KRG wants them to believe so they can contain the market. The truth is there are 1000's of original Morrisseau paintings out there for sale at really good prices.
I find it funny that KRG and Gabe state that Norval never used the dry brush technique yet KRg sold a painting of Norvals' at aution that was drybrushed. I know this blog has the link to that if anyone would like to see it.
