>>> Harassment charges have been laid against Ritchie R. Sinclair a.k.a. Stardreamer by the Toronto Police Department. Several attempts of harassment were committed against art gallery owner Joseph McLeod of Maslak Mcleod Gallery located at 118 Scollard Street Toronto. Mr. Joseph McLeod is a key witness in the Otavnik Vs Sinclair SC 09-00082782-0000 case which was concluded on January 11, 2011 at 47 Sheppard Avenue, Toronto.
-
The harassment came in the form of Mr. Sinclair trespassing on Maslak Mcleod Gallery property. Mr. Sinclair had also on one occasion stepped out of a car after spotting Mr. Joseph Mcleod walking on the street in the neighborhood of his gallery and was treated to screaming verbal assaults and accusations by Ritchie Sinclair along with Mr. Sinclair photographing Mr. McLeod with a digital camera. On another occasion Mr. Mcleod and his daughter were seated for dinner at a restaurant and once again publicly treated to verbal assaults and accusations by Ritchie R. Sinclair of 1604-30 Hillsboro Avenue, Toronto.

A detailed statement involving this matter with Mr. Joseph McLeod and Ritchie R. Sinclair, who claims to be a "Chosen Protégé of Norval Morrisseau", was submitted to the Toronto Police Department along with particulars regarding Ritchie Sinclair's website www.morrisseau.com and Mr. Sinclair's Norval Morrisseau Blog at http://norvalmorrisseaublog.blogspot.com that details unsubstantiated accusations of selling 'fake art and stolen art' were made by an envious Mr. Sinclair towards Mr. Joseph McLeod.
-
In review of Ritchie R. Sinclair's hearing the court Judge examined the contents of these two internet venues which Ritchie R. Sinclair a.k.a. Stardreamer had been using to terrorize specific individuals in the vendor/collector Woodland Art Market for more than two years beginning October 13th 2008 and was ordered by the judge to shut down his www.morrisseau.com website immediately and to stipulate that his 'BLOG' could remain 'open to invited readers only' or else face jail time. These were Mr. Sinclair's 'bail conditions' of which Ritchie R. Sinclair a.k.a. Stardreamer complied with court orders.
-
The justice of this swift action has come at a great price for all those that have been intimately involved at protecting Norval Morrisseau's art legacy against market espionage saboteurs the likes of Ritchie R. Sinclair a.k.a. Stardreamer, Donald C. Robinson of Kinsman Robinson Galleries, Paul C. H. Robinson of Kinsman Robinson Galleries, John MacGregor Newman of Kinsman Robinson Galleries, Mark Anthony Jacobson a.k.a. PEY-SIM-AWAY-APEY-BINASI, Bryant Ross of Coghlan Art Studios & Gallery and Norval Morrisseau's guardian & business manager Gabor M. Vadas.
-
The content found on the blogs attached to Kinsman Robinson Galleries (KRG) and Mark Anthony Jacobson a.k.a. PEY-SIM-AWAY-APEY-BINASI are full of misleading self inflated pompous information about their roles in this Norval Morrisseau saga. Note that the KRG blog http://genuinemorrisseau.blogspot.com/ had been removed on June 26th, 2009 by Kinsman Robinson Galleries and was reinstated on August 06, 2009. This time opening to invited readers only and NOW it is active with all previous content deleted.
-
The rhetoric and comments that have been entered onto these websites and blogs were mainly done by their blog hosts themselves. This tactic creates the idea of a winning accomplishment with what their blog hosts had just posted... 'an old political trick to the unsuspecting masses'. Disguising and masquerading a false sense of Indian pride has revealed that Mark Anthony Jacobson certainly being the winner in this category.
-
All of this activity reveals the minds of a small group of envious individuals who are willing to make others pay for their shortcomings as salesman and artists.
-
In the end it will be revealed that sadly to say that the masters behind this 'Morrisseau mess' have always been none other than Gabor M. Vadas and Norval Morrisseau himself. Who had denied authorship to works of art done by him in order to appease the greed and selfishness of his manager Gabor M. Vadas to corner the Woodland Art Market away from more than 25 galleries across Canada and abroad.
-
After the death of Norval Morrisseau on December 4th 2007 Mr. Gabor M. Vadas laid sole claim to the entire estate and art legacy of Norval Morrisseau. Strangely omitting the family (seven children, 17 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren) of the deceased from any legal rights to their late father Norval Morrisseau's art legacy. This action by Norval Morrisseau's guardian & business manager Gabor M. Vadas is being contested before Canadian Courts of law. Mr. Gabor M. Vadas states that a 'will' was contracted to him by Norval Morrisseau in July of 1999. Under the terms of the purported will, Gabor M. Vadas is the executor, trustee and sole beneficiary of Norval Morrisseau's estate.
-
BLOG MASTER'S COMMENT: It is difficult to believe in this blog master's personal opinion that Mr. Morrisseau would exclude any mention of his seven children in his will? Many of Morrisseau's children have families of their own with children. How is it possible that Norval Morrisseau would ignore completely all of his children, grand-children and their spouses who live in sub-standard conditions on Canadian Reservations from benefiting from their late father's art legacy and bequeath his life's work to one single individual? Just imagine where the Canadian Woodland Art Movement would be today if it weren't for all this unnecessary legal squabbling. I guess the word 'sharing' was never in Mr. Gabor M. Vadas' vocabulary? Is the concept really that hard?

Hi Spirit Walker,

I can't understand Ritchie Sinclair's behaviour of ranting in public against Mr. Joseph McLeod. But then I had a little taste of his libellous behaviour. It is clear that he and his ilk will use any means and utilise misinformation to harass people who don't agree with them.

As you are aware, I don't fully agree with the remarks about Gabor Vadas. He and Michele took care of Norval for many years and were instrumental in extending his life span way beyond that expected. That is a personal opinion and one that doesn't deny any other. I somehow feel that Norval's family and Norval himself rejected each other.

I must admit that without your excellent research and general perseverance the Morrisseau Story would have not been told in its true form. The abuse you had to suffer for this amazes me and the fact that you continued on this task is commendable. So keep up the good work and try to be more forgiving to the Vadas family. I'm sure Norval would want that.

I agree with Mr Lavack, the care given by Gabe and his family to Norval was instrumental in extending his life. I was there to witness this. I also met Ritchie Sinclair in whiterock ,at Norval's house. when he came to visit for a few days. Both, Gabe and Ritchie, would, in my opinion, be well served going to AA/NA meetings.

Ritchie 'StarDreamer' Sinclair and Mark Anthony Jacobson(aka.Pey-Sim Away-Binasi:RainBow ThunderBird) are two artists that have obviously used this 'market espionage' situation begun by Gabor Vadas,Norval Morrisseau and the Kinsman Robinson gang to further their agendas.

By agreeing with these people they wish to eliminate the competion of Norval Morrisseau art being sold in the market place. What began as an attack on mainly the 1970's pieces of art crossed over to later periods of art done by Norval Morrisseau.

As artists their intentions are to sell their own created art and they would welcome the elimination of any competion in the market place. So they naturaly jumped on the market espionage train...follow the money.

Both of these people and all the others have seriously damaged the lives of innocent people, their businesses and families. This is no joking matter and all of them I believe will be held accountable for the losses incurred by their actions.
