NOTES: This first Norval Morrisseau's exhibition was officiated by Alan Jarvis under patronage of Senator Allister Grosart and noted expert on Ojibway art and anthropology Selwyn Dewdney. ~ All paintings were sold out at the opening night for public on September 13, 1962. Total value of the art sold was $4,320.00 (minimum wage in 1962 was $1.15/hr).-
