It is unfortunate that attention was brought directly to Michael Moniz with this Globe and Mail article. BUT ... lets not revisit old blog enteries. Lets see new ones with new information and hard facts that can not be argued.

Spirit Walker,

I am surprised you want to revisit the mud slinging & wrestling. I am surprised you posted them in the first place!

Accusations without proof are not the truth you seek. They don't lead to the things you call for on your site.

Facts, actual evidence, that is what all true followers of Morrisseau want. Are you a real believer? Or are you just a fancy billboard for certain people's views.

Spirit Walker, walk tall! Take the more difficult road... the high road to truth.

...and what is the truth? The 1970's paintings shown here are not real? Ask any of the Morrisseau family members they would say otherwise! But hey that doesn't matter. Will the family agree that these are of Morrisseaus hand? Would that end the controversy?

The only thing that matters are the wallets of y'all know who..

To AP: The Blog Master reserves right to revisit any of the old Blog postings as a sole creator of the Blog initiated in honour of the Mind, Body and Spirit of Copper Thunderbird better known as Norval Morrisseau - Grand Shaman of the Ojibway.

Can you provide some "hard facts" that cannot be argued?

Thanks, SW

Spirit Walker.

You know I wish I could but I do not have answers. I would like to hear answers to help authenicate a painting I own ... or not.

I also have never suggested I could authenticate these painting.

By the way - thanks for sharing that YouTube video - it is great and I would have not seen it otherwise.

I see this article titled "Justice for Norval Morrisseau" has surfaced once again.
I am in litigation with the GlobeMedia Publishing Inc. and the late Val Ross in reference to the Newspaper article that was released February 14 2007.In their Statement of Defence to my lawyer dated July 20th 2007 I quote from the Statement of Defence.
Defamatory Meaning:
paragraph 5j)"the Society(NMHS) recommends experts or member galleries of the Art Dealers Asssociation of Canada("ADAC")who are trusted to authenticate Morrisseaus."
All my pieces that I have for sale on eBay and have sold on eBay have all been authenticated by a registered member of ADAC - Joseph Mcleod of Maslak McLeod Galleries with supporting appraisal documentation on each piece that I sell. I must fully agree with the statement of defence by the Globemedia Publishing Inc.in their admonition of the power and authority of ADAC members to authenticate Norval Morrisseaus.
paragraph 5qii)" the Art Dealers Association of Canada",the organization associated with the acronym ADAC, does not offer the service of authenticating Morrisseaus." This statement is true and ADAC relies on it's members to carry out said duties and responsibilites rather than themselves.
I wish to take the oppurtunity to thank Joseph McLeod of Maslak McLeod Gallery and Don Robinson of Kinsman Robinson Gallery for being responsible members of ADAC and their continued suppport of their registered memberships with ADAC in authenticating Norval Morrisseaus.

inkguy is back..
missed the blog/s over the last week or so.
I do have to comment, that following this blog has become confusing??? it is hard to follow comments , and comments not posted, and then commented on??
you cant have a debate in this fashion.
post all or post none, but this issues of missing comments is childish, selfish and highly suspect.
"The truth is the complete picture"
thanks.
I hope this post makes it?

Welcome back "Inkguy"...

I am sorry but not all comments could be posted. Certain comments just cannot make it that all could read. Why?

As I stated earlier if you have any proofs that what I am writing on this BLOG is incorrect and that I am trying to missinform the public with my views and opinions please provide sufficient documentation in form of pictures and written affidavits from recognized experts/professionals and/or trusted individuals and I will present it herein.

You stated that we cannot have a debate in this fashion and for me to post all comments or post none and that this issue of missing comments is childish, selfish and highly suspect. Also you stated that the truth is the complete picture. Is it?

I am asking you question why on the "Other" Norval Morrisseau Blog these freedoms are completely revoked? Can you see there the truth as the complete picture where people freely posting all the comments thay wish to post?

inkguy .
not sure I understood your reply.
I have not posted on the other blog, but unless they are doing something strange, I understand the format is the comments are published on the fly/instant?
I could be wrong?
anyway, my point was, that it is a bit hard to follow here at times.
why not just let the debate go on? good, bad or ugly?
I think this is best, after all it is "debate"
just my feeling

"Inkguy" wrote in his last unpublished comment that I pick and choose what I wish to publish and he calls my presentation a "one sided argument."

Readers of this Blog are free to come up to their own conclusions if what I am doing here is in the greatest respect to Norval Morrisseau, his Families and to the preservation of the legacy of his people as well as to the preservation of his artistic legacy.

inkguy says

there is no unpublished comment?
I only posted the 2 which are seen above?
perhaps others have used my name to post?

Hi "inkguy",

It seems to me that someone used your name for their own personal goals to discredit what I am doing here.

If you would like to know what your "identity thief" wrote e-mail me at spiritwalker2008@gmail.com and I will send it to you.

This raises another question if I should restrict only registered users to be allowed to place comments?

My message to all of the comment posterse: "Please, be aware unless you are a registered user your identity might be used by someone else."
