FOUR ROOMS is a new series which came to CBC Television in January 2014.

The premise of the show is simple: members of the public come from across Canada with prized possessions that they think could be worth a fortune.

Waiting in four rooms are Canada’s top buyers, each of them ready to spend BIG money on whatever comes through their doors.

But there’s a catch.

Sellers can only visit one buyer at a time and if they turn down an offer, it’s off the table for good, there’s no going back.

FOUR ROOMS. Four buyers. Four chances to make - or lose - a fortune.

BACKGROUND: Ritchie Sinclair from Toronto, Ontario brings to FOUR ROOMS with one of his original artworks, 17ft long painting titled "A Great Spirit". Painted over six canvas panels, according to Mr. Sinclair, this artwork was created in honour to Aboriginal artist, Norval Morrisseau.

-----------------------------------------------------

> Mr. Sinclair is not interested at all in honouring and/or protecting Norval Morrisseau's legacy as he continues to ignore the conclusive findings of the three top internationally recognized Forensic Document Examiners and Handwriting Experts from Ottawa, Toronto and Calgary

>>> Ritchie Sinclair is an individual who single-handedly caused the greatest harm to the Norval Morrisseau Art Market and whose name is infamously connected with the Legacy of Norval Morrisseau - recently supported by Donald C. Robinson in a court case Otavnik Vs Sinclair (Court File No. SC 09-00082782-0000) and served, together with Donald C. Robinson, as the plaintiff's only witnesses in a court case Hatfield, Margaret Lorraine vs. Child, Donna and Artworld of Sherway * (Court File No. SC-09-087264-0000)...

Note: Both of these paintings which were involved in these two court cases had been proven authentic Norval Morrisseau artworks by forensic science on August 24th, 2010/May 27th, 2011 & December 19th, 2011 (click HERE).

ALSO, LARGE NUMBER OF OTHER GENUINE NORVAL MORRISSEAU PAINTINGS, CERTIFIED BY FORENSIC SCIENCE, CONTINUE TO BE LABELED FORGERIES BY MR. RICHIE SINCLAIR ON HIS NOTORIOUS MALICIOUS WEBSITE (click HERE).

For the most recent court cases (see the above video 0:53 - 1:06), both, Mr. Hearn's and Mr. McDermott's opinions about autheniticity of their genuine Norval Morrisseau paintings came from no one else than Ritchie Sinclair of Toronto, Ontario - owner and operator of a notorious malicious website that claims that over 1,000 Morrisseau paintings - 99% of which he has never seen in person - are FORGERIES.

"His (Ritchie Sinclair's) methodology in identifying forgeries is clearly inadequate and suspect since he testified that he does not even view the original paintings before condemning them as fakes." (Court judgement "Hatfield vs. Artworld of Sherway" by Judge Paul J Martial: March 25th, 2013 - Page 16)

~ Additionally, in the appeal for this court case Madame Justice Mary Anne Sanderson ruled the following:

"Similarly, the trial Judge was entitled to reject the evidence of Sinclair and to conclude it was unsupported and unreliable. Sinclair could produce no documentary evidence to support his assertions that a well organized forgery ring painted the works auctioned by Kahn Auctions." (Ruling by Madame Justice Mary Anne Sanderson: December 17th, 2013 - [18] Page 3)

For the most recent court case McDERMOTT vs. MASLAK McLEOD GALLERY , noted in this video (see 0:53 - 1:06), all charges were dropped and case will not go for trial (click HERE).

... This is a story about an individual whose alleged "efforts to identify Norval’s true artistic legacy" are recognized by Donald C. Robinson of Kinsman Robinson Galleries ["AN EXAMINATION INTO THE AUTHENTICITY OF AN ALLEGED 1970'S NORVAL MORRISSEAU PAINTING" - EXPERT REPORT; September 10th, 2009; Page 74].

* Both, Donald Robinson and Ritchie Sinclair were discredited in this pivotal court case relevant to authenticity of Norval Morrisseau artworks (click HERE).

NOTES:

1. "The Hatfield case was unique in that it represented the first time a Morrisseau authentication joust had proceeded through a complete trial – it required five hearings spanning about two and a half years and resulting in 750 pages of published evidence – and ended with a judicial ruling." ~ 'The Globe and Mail'

2. Genuine Norval Morrisseau painting involved in this court case was also acquired from Randy Potter Estate Auctions and appraised by Mr. Joseph McLeod.

Inspection by the Buyers  (1:25 - 1:55)

...

Scott Landon: "Are you guys sure this is a Morrisseau?"

Eddy Rogo: "I am not!"

Derreck Martin: "I'm not either!"

Eddy Rogo: "It's style of, but I am not!"

Derreck Martin: "I've seen couple of his paintings. When you look at this like it is, I can see this painting is little bit amateurish compares to natural Morrisseau."

Scott Landon: "I agree, Derreck!"

Scott Landon (3:08 - 4:04)

RCMP officer turned successful antiques dealer, Scott Landon is one of the most respected names in the business, dealing primarily in North American historical artifacts.

Transcript:

Ritchie Sinclair: "I spent the last five years trying to protect my mentor's legacy and his work from widespread forgery."

Scott Landon: "But we are not talking about Morrisseau, We are talking about Ritchie, right now. You give me the number. What do you want for this thing?"

Ritchie Sinclair: "So, let me put it to you this way... You walk in the room, and you go "I think that's Morrisseau, how much would you pay for Morrisseau?"

Scott Landon: "But you are not Morrisseau, Ritchie!

Ritchie Sinclair: "I know."

Scott Landon: "How much money do you want for this thing?"

Ritchie Sinclair: "I want twenty eight grand."

Scott Landon: "I'll pay $8,000 for the painting. I will get it to major gallery in Vancouver, and boom... here it is!?"

Ritchie Sinclair: "I am saying no, my friend."

Scott Landon: "OK!"

Ritchie Sinclair: [left the room]

Scott Landon: "I gave him an opportunity to showcase his work in a major city, where he's gonna have tons of traffic. He doesn't want that... tough luck on you."

BLOG MASTER'S NOTE: As early as of August 2008 Ritchie Sinclair's intention was to capitalize on Morrisseau's name (click HERE to see blog post from October 17th, 2013 (Item 3), where Mr. Sinclair stated the following: "In my new Exhibition, "Spirit", I am capitalizing on Morrisseau's name and fame, however my motive for doing so is not financial." Jessica Lindsay Phillips (4:04 - 5:25)

Private collector and curator Jessica Lindsay Phillips is renowned for buying and selling the world’s most fascinating macabre items.

Transcript:

Jessica Lindsay Phillips: "I saw your painting. I have a friend that collects Morrisseaus."

Ritchie Sinclair: "Do you know that I am looking for a public venue for this piece, not to be in someone's personal collection."

Jessica Lindsay Phillips: "So, you are not in it for the money?"

Ritchie Sinclair: "I am not in it for the money. I am in it for the value."

Jessica Lindsay Phillips: "Sounds like money to me."

Ritchie Sinclair: "I know it does."

Jessica Lindsay Phillips: "Value, money moolah... What do we call it?"

Ritchie Sinclair: "If you have a public venue, and if you could make a legitimate offer, just a fair one. It doesn't need to be extravagant... and, put your best effort towards getting it out. Not to some guy who has forty or fifty Morrisseaus that may or may not be painted by Morrisseau."

Jessica Lindsay Phillips: "What if he is willing to purchase it to put it in a public area."

Ritchie Sinclair: "Anybody that has gotten fifty Morrisseaus probably has a problem with it..."

Jessica Lindsay Phillips: "...This is Ritchie Sinclair painting, it's not a Morrisseau..."

Ritchie Sinclair: "... Exactly, I don't want to be in someone's Morrisseau collection. I want you to put it out there in Niagara Falls..."

Jessica Lindsay Phillips: "... I don't like it enough... And you did not just impress me at all. You kind of insulted me... What's the value you are looking for?..."

Ritchie Sinclair: "...I am not giving it to you... because you are not interested."

Jessica Lindsay Phillips: "You can get out!... Bye!"

Ritchie Sinclair: [left the room]

Jessica Lindsay Phillips: "No numbers. I am not in here to little dance. That's what Saturday nights are for."

BLOG MASTER'S NOTE: Ritchie Sinclair, who claims that this painting was dedicated in honour of Norval morrisseau, clearly states that he does not want it "to be in someone's Morrisseau collection." This is very surprising for someone who claims to had apprenticed under this great Canadian painter.

Eddy Rogo (Rogozinski) (5:25 - 5:55)

Co-owner of Empire Auctions with his brother Michael Rogozinski, Eddy Rogo has over 25 years of experience in buying and selling fine art and rare treasures, and has a worldwide client list that includes celebrities, billionaires and royalty.

Transcript:

Eddy Rogo: "I saw the mural and I was super impressed."

Ritchie Sinclair: "...It's great to hear."

Eddy Rogo: "But... Our auction gallery, we sell lots of art."

Ritchie Sinclair: "...Yes."

Eddy Rogo: "But, what we are trying to do I saw the mural and I was super impressed."

Ritchie Sinclair: "...It's great to hear."

Eddy Rogo: "But, our auction gallery... we sell lots of art. But what we are trying to do is to stick to historical or investment, for example a Morrisseau. But the rules of the game are I have to give you a price, but I want you to promise me you won't be insulted..."

Ritchie Sinclair: "...Yeah."

Eddy Rogo: "Five thousand dollars!"

Ritchie Sinclair: "...No... I am saying no to your offer but not to your friendship."

Eddy Rogo: "That's a great deal for me."

Ritchie Sinclair: "...OK, bye..."

Eddy Rogo: "...Friends."

BLOG MASTER'S NOTES: I was really surprised that Eddy Rogo (Rogozinski) offered any monies for Ritchie Sinclair's artwork at all, especially knowing that Mr. Sinclair defamed and is still defaming genuine Norval Morrisseau painting which was sold at Mr. Rogo's EMPIRE AUCTIONS in June 1997.

This painting is currently labeled as "Inferior Counterfeit Morrisseau" by Mr. Sinclair on his notorious malicious website (click HERE & HERE). This painting was in June 2010 offered for sale again, but this time through WALKER'S Auction in Ottawa, Ontario (click HERE).

Many other genuine Norval Morrisseau paintings sold through EMPIRE AUCTIONS were called "Inferior Counterfeit Morrisseaus" by Ritchie Sinclair... these paintings were supplied to EMPIRE AUCTION by Mr. David Voss of Thunder Bay, Ontario (Click HERE and/or HERE). Mr. Voss was individual who was a supplier of Norval Morrisseau's paintings to Kahns Auctions (Randy Potter Estate Auction).

>>> The same paintings sourced from Mr. David Voss and offered for sale to Empire Auctions and Randy Potter Estate Auctions are considered as FAKES by Donald Robinson of Kinsman Robinson Galleries (click HERE for more information). Mr. Robinson and his son Paul acquired and appraised the paintings signed by the artist with a dry brush (DB) technique and coming from the same source (see 'Norval Morrisseau Conspiracy Unveiled'; Exhibit No. 4 & 'Norval Morrisseau Conspiracy Unveiled'; Exhibit No. 8)  <<<

FINAL NOTE: Mr. Michael Rogozinski, a brother of Mr. Eddy Rogo, which has sold Norval Morrisseau’s work, in 'National Post' newspaper article "Morrisseau fakes alleged" in 2001 (see 'Norval Morrisseau Conspiracy Unveiled'Exhibit No. 5) stated the following: -

“Over the last 30 years, he would be on reserves and paint paintings for food and liquor. You give him acrylic paint and a canvas and tell him you’ll take him out for dinner and give him some liquor and he’ll paint. There are probably thousands of these things on reserves all over the country.”

It is obvious, as per Mr. Michael Rogozinski's statement, that Norval Morrisseau was a very prolific artist. All of the paintings sold in the past in auction houses and commercial galleries all across Canada is a proof of it.

~ Majority of Norval Morrisseau's art during his artistic career were not sold through the galleries but rather directly by the artist to numerous investors and art collectors (Ref.: 'Norval Morrisseau Conspiracy Unveiled'; Exhibit No. 1) ~

VIDEO #1d

Derreck Martin (5:55 - 7:02)

Third generation owner of 507 ANTIQUES, with locations in Toronto and New York, Derreck Martin is the future of antiques in Canada and abroad.

Transcript:

Derreck Martin: "How is this painting legitimizing Morrisseau?"

Ritchie Sinclair: "... Well..."

Derreck Martin: "When I look at the application of the paints, and lines and the shapes... it looks like a, it looks like a bad Morrisseau..."

Ritchie Sinclair: "... Uhm... The major collector of my work right now, he is a billionaire. He has decked out all conference room with nothing but my work, and it's beside Rembrandts and Monets and Picassos..."

Derreck Martin: "So, so... OK"

Ritchie Sinclair: "...Yeah..."

Derreck Martin: "What do you think it's worth?"

Ritchie Sinclair: "I am looking for over twenty..... thousand"

Derreck Martin: "I could do a thousand a panel. So, it would be a six grand."

Ritchie Sinclair: "... Six thousand... we are not there."

Ritchie Sinclair: [left the room]

Derreck Martin: "I think Ritchie is attaching himself to Morrisseau to pull some value out of his work, but to be frank he is just not established enough to be commanding that kind of dough."

BLOG MASTER'S NOTE: It is surprising that Ritchie Sinclair, who claims that this painting was dedicated in honour of Norval morrisseau and clearly states that he does not want it "to be in someone's Morrisseau collection", he does not have objections of his artwork to be "beside Rembrandts and Monets and Picassos..."

... I would really love to meet that billionaire and ask him if I could visit that conference room decked out with nothing but Ritchie Sinclair's artworks, beside Rembrandts and Monets and Picassos..."

... The first question that crosses my mine is: "Does this person exist at all or is he/she just a figment of Ritchie Sinclair's imagination?

>>> In a court judgement "Hatfield vs. Artworld of Sherway" /Court File No. SC-09-087264-0000/ Judge Paul J. Martial stated the following about Mr. Joseph McLeod of Maslak McLeod Gallery:

“He demonstrated a superior depth of knowledge of Morrisseau…” (Judgment by Judge Paul J Martial: March 25th, 2013 - Page 25)

“The testimony of Mr. Joseph McLeod is indicative of his care and the detailed effort to confirm provenance, including the hiring of a forensic expert to examine the signature on the back of the painting indicate that he took his role to provide appraisals seriously. His testimony… demonstrates his depth of knowledge of the painter due to his lengthy association with the artist.”
(Judgment by Judge Paul J Martial: March 25th, 2013 - Page 35)

"His (Ritchie Sinclair's) methodology in identifying forgeries is clearly inadequate and suspect since he testified that he does not even view the original paintings before condemning them as fakes." (Judgment by Judge Paul J Martial: March 25th, 2013 - Page 16)

"Mr. Robinson (of Kinsman Robinson Galleries) was qualified as an expert in the area of valuation and appraisal. His testimony however overlapped into the area of handwriting and included an analysis of syllabic and English handwriting, areas for which he was not qualified.

"He has no formal training as an expert witness in handwriting analysis and his evidence is rejected. (Judgment by Judge Paul J Martial: March 25th, 2013 - Page 37)

"Dr. Singla's forensic evidence is preferred in this regard and his finding that it is highly probable that the painting "Wheel of Life" was painted by Norval Morrisseau was supported by his detailed technical analysis of known signatures of' Norval Morrisseau. (Judgment by Judge Paul J Martial: March 25th, 2013 - Page 37)

"The Court finds that there is overwhelming evidence that Norval Morrisseau signed paintings in black brush paint.” (Judgment by Judge Paul J Martial: March 25th, 2013 - Page 34)
