"It is our Ojibwa tradition to recall our history or obtain our history in an oral manner. It is important for our children and others to benefit through the process of continuing to recall and make history."

Great to see some of the early Morrisseau pictrographs. I had heard there were some but these are the first I have seen. Do you know how these are framed? Birch bark tends to curl and get brittle with age. I wonder if the framer glued these onto some sort of semi-flexible base. There can't be too many of these around. They would be rare pieces by an artist that produced a large number of paintings. I, and many others of your ardent viewers, would like to see more of this Masters varied work. Excellent presentation Spirit Walker.

the way to frame these types of pieces is in a shadow box frame in order to see these works in their entirety. never use a glue or any substance that is not acid free. You can hinge it from the back, with acid free tape on to an arcival mat
