In order to fully understand shameful ways of an individual who single-handedly caused greatest harm to Norval Morrisseau Art Market and whose name is infamously connected with the Legacy of Norval Morrisseau I strongly advise the blog visitors to read all reference posts together with corresponding comments.

It appears that the expertise of Stardreamer is the 'dreamer' part of his name. With all the proof and research your blog has presented, I feel sad it exposed fraudulent action on the part of Mr. Sinclair. Whether this was an error he sought to correct, or something driven by gain will be hard to assess. As a Morrisseau collector I have been watching all blogs related to this artist and was rather confused by the in fighting that was initiated from a number of blogs against the SW blog since its inception. But time saw the this blog produce excellent researched material that was worthy of the highest academic honor. With Elizabeth McLuhan committed to cataloging Morrisseau art, I hope she pays attention to the blogs honoring the artist, & some individuals, that can assist her in the monumental task that has been thrust upon her. Keep up the good work SW and don't waver in the face of any pressures to make you desist in your research and truth seeking efforts. A lot of my associates watch your blog and, like myself, wish you well. Martin

Mistakes can be made, but to repeat these time and time again needs to be explained. It's hard to understand Mr Sinclairs' motive or the apparent support he received from Mr Robinson. They must have been convinced and check with other 'experts'to arrive at their conclusions. Is there any chance of hearing how they arrived at their fake decisions? Your blog is about the only one that might be arrange this. I wouldn't like to see such a critical subject aired on other blogs that attack yours in a rather distasteful manner.

Its too bad that Ritchie can't make up his mind. Real or not real? Im also surprised that someone like Kinsman Robinson Gallery would want to be associated with Ritchie since they are such a "reputable gallery". I will use that term losely.
Thank you SpiritWalker for honouring Norval and his works. The writing is on the wall and has been for along time. Hold your head high. KRG has alot of sheep following right now that dont form their own opinions but rather are brainwashed into what KRG wants them to believe so they can contain the market. The truth is there are 1000's of original Morrisseau paintings out there for sale at really good prices.
I find it funny that KRG and Gabe state that Norval never used the dry brush technique yet KRg sold a painting of Norvals' at aution that was drybrushed. I know this blog has the link to that if anyone would like to see it.

Its not looking good for Star Dreamer. I wanted to say that I think its really childish to have his website up and running for the sole purpose of slandering original Morrisseau's and the individuals that possess them.
It seems that KRG and Star Dreamer are very similar in alot of ways.
Its refreshing to see this website is all about the preservation of the late Nroval Morrisseau and his art works.
Its a joy to visit on a daily basis.
Thank you for all your work and effort in this cause.

Well it's not surprised that all of Ritchie's so called supporters are dumping him.

John Z -gone not to come back

Kinsman Robinson- They have removed all references to Ritchie and now state that they have/were never associated with Ritchie in any shape way manner or form. They even closed down their bolg and only have a twitter account now

The Browne's even they removed their link to morrisseaubuyerbeware from Ritchie's web site

Ritchie's last and only supporter is a half breed -MAJ who like Ritchie hasn't got a pot to piss in

A conclusive summary of all the activity presented in detail with before and after screen captures by SpiritWalker has illuminated the fact to the public that Ritchie 'StarDreamer' Sinclair is a disgruntled failed artist. Who took it upon himself to damage the market through lies and has been coaught doing so. This individual has cost hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of damage to the legacy of the late Great Norval Morrisseau. This damage will be repaired. Historical record shows that all great artists must go through a 'baptism of cleansing' in regards to their works of art. Dali,Chagal,Warhol and Picasso were no different.
Key people in the past such as Randy Potter and Joe McLeod could have put a stop to all of this when they both had the chance and oppurtunity to do so but descided to ignore what was brewing in the back ground.Ignor-ance is not bliss gentleman.
This whole mess began on May 18th 2001 with Donald Robinson of Kinsman Robinson Galleries in Toronto Ontario. This gallery owner took it upon himself to seed controversy in the art market with intentions to corner and control the art market associated with Norval Morrisseau. He along with others thought that they could contain and control the fire which they started and focus the public's attention on a particular period of art that Norval Morrisseau was resposible for painting.Namely the 1970's period.Which ironically has now become the most documented period of art coming from this artist and the safest to buy. As an avid dealer and purchaser of art from Randy Potter auctions,Mr.Donald Robinson ended up buying 28 paintings from said auction house. He proclaimed them as forgeries after 14 months of ownership and never requested a refund from Mr.Randy Potter who was willing to do so. Mr. Robinson's failure to contract Randy Potter's supplier ie.Mr.David Voss created the 'greedy panic' exhibited by Mr. Donald Robinson's actions afterwards with the National Post article dated May 18th 2001 attack.
Mr. Donald Robinson of Kinsman Robinson Galleries publicly announced that these 28 paintings were submitted to the Norval Morrisseau Heritage Society for research purposes. These 28 paintings were never submitted to the Norval Morrisseau Heritage Society for research purposes.A blatant lie.I suggest that the Norval Morrisseau Heritage Society commence a lawsuit against Mr.Donald Robinson for putting this organization into jeopardy in regards to their reputation as an organizing body of intellectuals involved in the noble task of cataloging Norval Morrisseau's entire artwork history.

Hello SW. My family has been following the detective stories about art fraud and such on your blog with great interest. My father bought a few paintings from Norval in early 1970 when he was in the Kenora jail. I haven't had these authenticated. Is there anyone from that period that you know who could authenticate these. From what I have read about Kinsman Robinson I don't wish to use their services for that task. We were sorry to read about the sexual aberrations of Norval Morrisseau from his brothers letter and find that rather sad. I am also surprised that the NMHS don't step into the act to catalogue all paintings of our recognized native artists. That would be a huge undertaking for prolific artists like Morrisseau but well worth the expense I prefer Morrisseau's early, pre-1975 work before he was pushed by the commercial outlets to become an assembly line painter. We look forward to more expose' stories. Chad and family

Again, the truth at large is full of magic. your seemingly exhaustible source of information makes the plot both thicker and clearer. Now that you and MM have clearly and altruistically exposed this maddness, you can rest assured that everything and everyone shall follow suit. Kudos

"if Ritchie sinclair is a 'protege and expert' then why did he have many paintings on his www.stardreamers.com as authentic for over three years? and then say they were 'fake' after October 13th 2008 on www.morrisseau.com?"

Conclusion:
Ritchie Sinclair is a 'FAKE' and 'no expert' he ia an embittered disgruntled artist from what I gather.

HA HA HA So the "Stardreamer" has to admit that he can't even tell what is and what is not a fake Norval Morrisseau on his www.stardreamers.com and Don Robinson admits to being "fooled" 28 times when Don bought Norval Morrisseau's at Kahn Auctions/Randy Potter Estate Auctions!!!

Boy, oh Boy!! And these people think they are experts... What a joke

....Don Robinson and Co.[Gabe Vadas, Bryant Ross of Coghlan Art, etc.] knew that Norval was very busy painting in the 70's and that the work he did was at it's peak in quality as well as numbers of pieces. They handled him from the mid to late 80's when the pieces came slower and didnt have the same feel as the 70's work. In order to sell these pieces, which they acquired from Norval, they started to discredit the works to make the 80's and 90's seem like the only viable option to make themselves the money. I think in hindsight he (Don Robinson) has hurt the entire market when he,or they, tried to corner the market. He definitely has some explaining to do and I for one cant wait.
