Presented above is an excellent example of Norval Morrisseau's painting technique where after drawing the image with pencil he first applied the islands of colours on canvas only to finish the painting with thick black outlines.

BLOG MASTER'S COMMENT: Norval Morrisseau's painting style is characterized by thick black outlines and bright colors.
